Just as I was getting confident in riding the whole mountain, I decided to accompany some expert skiers down a significant famous 007 related black run, in what can only be called perhaps not ideal conditions... after serious protests from myself, I finally chose to snow goggles only to realize that these highly experienced twin plankers were side slipping down the mountain!!!

Oahu is the weirdest thing when you are able see others on the slopes perfectly but cannot start to see the slope it self... there has been times when I've genuinely thought I had arrived at an end but hadn't, and then fell quite heavily, such may be the manner your mind is fooled by such conditions. The outcome from these experiences for me has been to discover a pair of snowboarding goggles that provide you as much of an advantage in flat/low light conditions as you possibly can.
